A textiles giant eyes fashion

Lawn culture has now become a fashion statement: the lawn of yesterday was a mere necessity, to wear during the heat. Now, after several model and socialites have endorsed it, the lawn of today has become a must-have, and among all the designers and their lawns, guess who leads the pack? The clear winner is Gul Ahmed. But just because it's not lawn season anymore doesn't mean the brand is not as enthusiastic about its latest collection of warmer fabrics.

Frieha Altaf was the brains behind the affair having recently signed on to manage the brand which will inevitably lead to more PR activities for the textile company who have already done well with their seasonal catalogue and website.Fauzia was glammed up with gorgeous curls, and did justice to her clothes as she walked around slowly and elegantly. Ayaan seems to be growing taller and taller every day! (Later we caught a glance at her enormous Lady-Gaga-esque shoes and everything then made sense) Saima, the Veet Supermodel Contest winner, did a great job: she didn't hide away in the background amongst some of our biggest models.

However, Iraj was perhaps appreciated the most, as simply her presence itself is a pleasure: she has a huge confident smile on her face, and she walks around interacting with people she knows. When she walks on the runway, it shows that there is no other place she'd rather be than there, doing what she does best.
